The Sunday Octoechos
The Sunday Octoechos is a liturgical book containing the hymns of the Sunday services in the eight tones. For each tone it presents the texts of Great Vespers, Matins, and the Divine Liturgy, including the Sunday stichera, troparia, canons, sessional hymns, antiphons, and other hymns. The central theme of the book is the glorification of the Resurrection of Christ, His victory over death, and the salvation granted to mankind. The edition is intended for liturgical use and may also serve for the study of Orthodox hymnography and the structure of the Sunday services.
